And I was genuinely surprised (in a good way, I think) by one small (or not so small) change they made to it in honour of the 60th. I will say no more.
I was thinking of rewatching it at some point, because it's been a while (10 years I suppose!!), and clearly now I'll have to, lol.
The Daleks seems an odd choice - like, not one that would benefit from colourisation in any case, unlike, say, a historical where we've seen some of the amazing colour contuinity & publicity stills, or even just anything that has Anneke Wills, 60s fashion icon in! You're not alone. I chanced on another New Who YouTUbe reactor watching some classic Who here and there lately, and they put a note on their community that they saw a bit of the Daleks and they think they're going to react to the original, even though they don't even want to watch b&w TV that's longer than 4 episodes, so clearly it's not just an old fogey's response.
I'll probably have to look at a bit at some point, though, just out of curiosity!
