So, I've just watched part three of the exciting, indeed hair-raising Children of Earth, and you know what, I've quite enjoyed it so far. The longer-format story seems to be working - it's not quite as rushed/handwavy as one of the standalone episodes (although there are two parts still to prove me wrong on that). Sure, there's been a fair bit of filler and the usual patented Torchwood shenanigans, not to mention the occasional head-scratching moment, but combined with just enough government conspiracy/alien contact stuff to keep me interested. (Possible spoilers follow!!!)
